Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional area, Nab Kugbilsung Nalebtang has eulogized President Nana Akuffo Addo for keeping his promises made to Ghanaians during the 2016 electioneering campaign.
According to him, the NPP has fulfilled all major campaign promises made in the Upper East Region and he has therefore conferred on the President the title “President Promise Do”.
Speaking at his palace during a courtesy call on him by the President, The Tongraan prayed that the visit of the President will follow with victory at the December polls.
“You have heard most of our prayers and cries and concerns already. We want to acknowledge your response to them, especially the Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam. The Bolga – Bawku-Polmakom Road, which was promised to be constructed by previous regimes with no action, is today nearing completion under your stewardship…The one village one dam policy, the Free Education policy and the several roads and railway you are constructing all over the country. Well done…
I will call you President Promise-Do because you do what you say you will do. So Mr president, you take the name President Promise-Do from this palace.” He said.
The President is on a two day campaign tour of the region.
