Yensoft as an Education Technology (EduTech) startup seeks to help schools in Ghana and beyond. Their baseline is that, Ghanaian schools have falling behind those from other countries in term of data management systems, hence improving our school’s data management system has become increasingly urgent need for the nation. With four (4) years’ experience as school administrator, Asa Yentelbah together with his co-founder realized that schools in the country data management systems are disorganized, and trends in individual student performance as well as overall student body were very difficult to assess and analyse. To them, this is attributed to the fact most of the schools operates manual system which makes it technically difficult to assess and analyze student performance with ease and high accuracy.

To solve the manual system practiced in our current schools, the team researched and spoke to a number of schools such as Blessing Educational Complex, Eastbrown Community School, Christ the King School, Northspring Academy, Great Famous Academy, Great Victory Academy, Sanabas Miracle Academy, Ola Academy, Central Lyceum and Mount Sinai etc. to be able to develop a product market-fit for the schools. Yensoft School Management System will become a forefront push for technology-driven Management System in schools.

With the current school’s management systems, teachers and parents are not able to monitor their students’ success at a go. Yensoft School Management System connects both parents and school together, allows flexible payments of fees, generates report on pupils’ academics. Yensoft management system are highly secured, flexible and easy to use. Yensoft management system have user-friendly interface, flexible fee payment through MoMo at parents’ comfort and user support. The system calculates with accuracy the student grades and sends alerts to parents and school administrator regarding payment of fees and summaries terminal report. Not only that, when students begin to deviate from their normal academic patterns, like getting a rash of poor grades, the system sends alert to parents and school administrator for quicker response enough to help the student reverse course before failing.

With access to appropriate funding, Yensoft is looking to capture the market and provide jobs as they grow into a huge organization. And also seek to evolve into a great learning platform in the future.
