The West African Examination Council (WAEC) says it is working around the work to ensure the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination results for school candidates are released by the end of this month.
The examining body made the announcement in a statement while indicating that it has received additional payment of 35 million Ghana cedis “from the Ministry of Education to enable it complete the scanning of the objective answer cards and conclude processing of results for the WASSCE for school candidates, 2024”.
However, WAEC is appealing to the Ministry “to release the outstanding balance to enable it pay supervisors, invigilators, script checkers, suppliers of examination materials and also meet other financial obligations”.
