Bolgatanga based singer Nambawan, known in real life as Ayamga Clement has called on his colleague artistes in the music industry in the Upper Region to allow for decorum in the industry by being decent in their dealings and engagements.
The West Side Entertainment signee said musicians in the region should focus on building their crafts rather than attempting to run down others.
For him, the music industry is big enough to contain all of them hence, there is no need for any artiste to feel threatened by others to the extent that they will work towards their down fall.
“If it is black then let it be black and if its white let it be white”.
He said this during an interview with Lexis on Dreamz Fm Tuesday Night as part of his radio tour to promote his newly released song titled “La Concern Me”. The song according to him, has received lots of praise from critics and music enthusiasts alike.
Nambawan, one of the biggest artiste in Northern Ghana, broke into the limelight in 2015 with his hit song ‘Party all night Remix’. He has since been consistent in the music industry releasing hit songs back to back and winning numerous awards including grabbing the Rapper of the Year and Most Popular Song of the Year awards at the Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards.
The rapper was recently nominated for the Next Rated Act of the Year at the just ended 3 Music Awards but lost out at the regional level to music group, Rockcity
