Winner of the coveted award at the 2024 Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards will enjoy free flight to and from Accra all year round, CEO of Charger Limited , producers of the headline sponsor Happy Man Bitters and other beverages has announced.

The round-trip flight from Tamale to Accra for the whole of 2025 is among numerous packages Charger Limited through its CEO Emmanuel Bortey Borketey has announced as prizes for winners of the 6th edition of the wards.

Aside from this, the Happy Man Foundation has offered to award Artistes of the Year winner with a cash prize of GH¢20,000 and Music Influencer of the Year with an amount of GH¢5,000.

The Foundation is also committing GH¢1,000 to each award winner.

The awards event is scheduled to take place tonight January 11, 2025 and will see artistes battle for awards in 24 categories.

10 artistes are competing for the coveted Artistes of the Year awards.

They include Fasetwo, the reigning Artiste of the Year; Pandy, Rockcity, Flamebwoy, Timorhino, Showboy, Kundivi Mahama, Nambawan, Alapta Wan and Gingsen.

In a statement, Dr. Emmanuel Borketey, while commending the organizers and nominees, called for support for the awards scheme.

“To the wonderful people of the Upper East Region, I urge you to rally behind this initiative,” excerpt of the statement read.

It added, “Your unwavering support is the cornerstone of the success and sustainability of this award scheme. Let’s come together to celebrate our artistes and inspire them to achieve even greater heights”.
