Winner of the ultimate award, Artiste of the Year at this year’s edition of the Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards will, on the awards night, walk home GH¢20,000 richer, title sponsor of the award scheme, Charger Limited, producers of Happy Man Bitters has announced.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charger Limited, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, who made the announcement, charged organizers of the awards, One Love Youth Entertainment and the board to ensure due diligence in the organization and the nomination process in order that the most-deserving artiste get recognized.
“We have a package of GH¢20,000 to whoever emerges as Artiste of the Year and we encourage One Love Youth Entertainment and the board that they should give us the best. Let the best win and forever, we are for the region,” he stated.
This comes after organizers of the award scheme announced that they will launch this year’s edition of the award on September 11, 2021. Nomination, they added, will be opened after the launch.
