GRNMA unveils new regional council members

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Upper East Regional Branch has inaugurated its Regional Council at the association’s hostel facility in Pusu-Namango, Talensi District of the Upper East Region.

Mr. Lambon Thomas, the Assistant National Treasurer of the association, presided over the ceremony on behalf of the National President, Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo.

According to a statement released to the media by Desmond Yaani, the Regional Public Relations Officer of GRNMA, “The inauguration of the Upper East Regional Council is a testament to our commitment to strengthening our regional presence and enhancing the welfare of our members.”

The event brought together all 15 district/municipal chairpersons and secretaries, as well as the nine regional executives, demonstrating the association’s unity and solidarity.

The statement said, Mr. Lambon Thomas emphasized the importance of unity, hard work, dedication, and sacrifice in achieving the council’s objectives.

He urged council members to adhere to the association’s structure when addressing issues, laying a strong foundation for future endeavors.

The inauguration of the Upper East Regional Council marked a new era for nursing excellence in the region, as the GRNMA is poised to continue its advocacy for better working conditions, professional development, and improved healthcare outcomes.

With this new council in place, the association is ready to tackle the region’s specific challenges and promote the well-being of its members.
