The 2023 class of graduates from St. John Bosco College of Education in the Kassena-Nankana Municipality of the Upper East Region have been charged to exude confidence and excellence in their teaching profession.
During the graduation ceremony, 318 newly minted teachers were encouraged to showcase their discipline, training, and skills acquired during their time at the college.
The ceremony, held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, marked the successful completion of the graduates’ degree programs, paving the way for their engagement by the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The graduates’ academic achievements were impressive, with 18 obtaining first-class honors, 153 securing second-class upper division, 104 achieving second-class lower division, and 28 earning third-class honors.
In his address, the Acting Principal urged the graduates to “Go forth with confidence, knowing that you are well-prepared for the journey ahead.”
He emphasized the importance of passion in teaching, noting that “passionate teachers create passionate learners.”
The graduates were encouraged to embody this mantra as they embark on their teaching careers, equipped with the skills, knowledge, and passion to make a positive impact in the lives of their students.
