Comedienne and controversial media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has alleged that a leading member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) who is lacing his boot to contest John Boadu, the current General Secretary of the party for the position is behind the purported sex escapades of broadcast journalist, Serwaa Amihere with top notch NPP’s members including Mr. Boadu.
Afia Schwarzenegger claimed the said individual has a questionable reputation hence, he decided to dent Mr. Boadu’s image in order to better his chances in the upcoming internal elections of the NPP by leading his campaign team to fabricate the allegation of Mr. Boadu and other members of the NPP having sexual affairs with the broadcast journalist and putting same in the public.
“Information reaching us indicates that the Serwaa Amihere’s saga has a political twist. The allegation of her sex escapades with John Boadu and others are fabrication from the camp of a member of NPP who is lacing his boots to contest John Boadu. In politics, there are some figures with questionable reputation so they will want to destroy the reputation of others they are going into contest with. We all know that the alleged leaked tape was lifted from porno website,” she said.
Expressing her displeasure over the alleged actions of the General Secretary hopeful, the comedienne contended that Mr. Boadu has contributed immensely to the victories of the NPP in the last two elections and does not deserve such treatment from party’s members regardless of their interest.
She cannot fathom why the said individual would also drag the names of other individuals who have nothing to do with the contest through the mud, stating that such actions are inhumane and unfair.
She advised politicians to be decorous in their political activities and not destroy the reputation of their opponents in a bid to score political points as that could have a toll on not just the opponents but their family members.
“I don’t understand some politicians at all. Your General Secretary who took you to the polls 2 times and secured you victory and you are destroying his image because of internal elections? Dragging the names of other people who have nothing to do with the contest into it? It is not fair. Sometimes, when you are doing things, think about how your actions could affect the person’s family.
You have dragged this girl into the mud because you people are preparing for elections? It is sad. Just because you want to contest John Boadu, you dragged Napo, Sammi Awuku and others into the issue. Politicians, it is high time you people practiced politics with decorum. This so off the limit,” she stated.
Serwaa Amihere has become the talk of town following the leakage of a purported sex tape of her and some leading members of the NPP. The alleged sex tape which is found to have been lifted from pornographic website came after she was accused of having sexual affairs with top politicians particularly members of the NPP and infecting them with STDs.
She has since reacted, describing the allegations as malicious lies fabricated by individuals who are bent on destroying her reputation to distract her and paint her black in the eyes of the public.
