Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, the Vice Presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress has begun a two campaign tour of in the Upper East region.
Following her nomination as running mate to the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama, the former education minister hit the ground running with a mix of campaign and further introduction to key players including religious and traditional bodies.
The first point of call after her outdooring was the Central region which was followed by others including the Greater Accra region.
While in the Upper East region, she will hold sessions with traders and trainee nurses of selected schools in the region.
Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang will also pay courtesy calls on traditional rulers in the Bawku enclave, Kasena Nankana and Builsa areas.
Party sources say the tour will focus on soliciting views on relevant issues that will influence decision making at the polls and uncovering the burning expectations of the people in the next NDC government.
