Considered one of the pioneers of political party communication in the Upper East Region, John Paul Danka, a leading member of the communication team of the National Democratic Congress, (NDC) on Sunday, March, 19 was recognized for excellent communication.
Mr. Danka received a citation in his honour from the Upper East Regional Communications Bureau of the NDC stating his over 2 decades of commitment to the communications unit of the party.
The recognition formed part of a capacity-building workshop for members of the communications team that had some national officials and key figures of the party in attendance including the National Communications Officer, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, Former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, MP for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo, among others.
In the citation, the party noted it was recognizing his years of dedication and exceptional service as a valued communication team member for over two decades. “In recognition of your dedication and exceptional service as a valued member of our communication team for over two decades, we extend our heartfelt appreciation. Your commitment to the NDC’s mission and principles is commendable, evident in the quality of your work and your enthusiasm.” The citation was partly captured.
The party stated that his contributions have played a pivotal role in advancing its objectives and strengthening our presence in the public sphere.
The soft-spoken party communicator and lover of reggae music apart from being part of the communication team is also the immediate past regional administrator of the party, occupied the position of constituency reorganization committee member, served as constituency and parliamentary elections vetting committee member, a member of regional election directorate and secretary of the regional party reconciliation committee in 2016.
It is on this basis that the party expressed gratitude to him for his service, stating “Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication. We look forward to achieving even greater success together in the future.” The Citation was signed by both the Regional Communication Officer, Jonathan Abdallah Salifu, and the National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi (Esq) captured.
