Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, running-mate nominee of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed his deep appreciation for the decision to settle on him to partner the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer for the 2024 elections.
“I am deeply honoured today as the chosen running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),” Dr. Prempeh said, acknowledging the trust placed in him by the party’s flagbearer and the National Council.
Dr. Prempeh views his selection as a divine plan and a call to higher service, saying, “I consider this nomination as a call to higher service, a call to sacrifice and a duty to perform.”
He urged all party members to join forces to achieve their ambitious goal of transforming Ghana into a prosperous nation.
With a strong sense of purpose and dedication, Dr. Prempeh has pledged to support Dr. Bawumia in prosecuting a formidable 2024 campaign to break the 8-year election cycle and serve Ghana diligently.
He expressed gratitude to the National Council, party members, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and his colleague Ministers and MPs for their unwavering support and faith in him.
