Mobile Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana on Tuesday November 2, 2021 reinforced its dominance in the telecommunication space in Ghana by winning ten (10) top awards thereby leading the awards ceremony.
Out of the ten (10) awards, six went to the company as it won in various awards categories including Customer Experience of the Year, Excellence in Social Investment, Mobile Data Service Provider of the Year, Mobile Money Leadership Award (MTN MoMo), Network Operations Team of the Year and the Customer Service Team of the Year.
The rest of the four went to staff of MTN for their contribution to the progress of the company. The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh was adjudged the CEO of the year while Thomas Motlepa received the Chief Technical Officer of the year award. Mr. Lawrence Akosen, Senior Manager, Customer Experience Planning & Enablement and Mr. Salihu Abu, Senior Manager, Customer Relations and Credit Management both received Most Promising Customer Service Personalities award at the event.
Now in its 11th year, the Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Award (GITTA) has become a platform that celebrates, honor and shine the spotlight on government agencies, operators, ISP, Infrastructure providers, FinTechs, Banks and other stakeholders which have distinguished themselves and chalked tremendous success in the information and the technological industry.
Commenting on the massive win, CEO of MTN Ghana, Selorm Adadevoh expressed excitement at the turn of events as he dedicates the awards to customers, stakeholders and Ghanaians for making MTN a top brand in the country.
