Wife of former President John Dramani Mahama, Lordina Mahama has prevailed upon God in a special birthday message to open the eyes of Ghanaians to see the purity of heart of her husband and his selfless commitment to Ghana.
The former President who turned 62 on Sunday November 29, 2020 has been receiving felicitations from notable individuals and social media users on his birthday.
Born on November 29, 1958, John Mahama served as President of the Republic of Ghana from July 24, 2012 following the death of his boss Late President John Evans Atta Mills to January 2017 when he won the 2012 election and continued for a full four-year term.
After losing the 2016 election to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the former President is seeking re-election after he won the presidential primaries of the National Democratic Congress to become its flagbearer.
One notable birthday message to the presidential candidate is one authored by his wife madam Lordina Mahama.
“You make life better for all whose lives you touch. On this special day, I pray for good health, long life and for God to give you many more reasons to continue to smile. May God open the eyes of all to see the purity in your heart and the selfless, committed man you are to family, friends and our dear country,” she wrote.
The former First Lady praised her husband for being a good husband adding that “You’ve been my inspiration, my strength and my soul mate. You are always there when I need you. Having you by my side has meant the world to me.
Truly, if I am asked the secret to a happy marriage, I would be tempted to say “finding a husband like you”.
