“Former President Mahama (is) another man whose regime was so corrupt that Satan himself ran away. So corrupt was President Mahama’s regime that we all sat back and said ‘my God’, is Satan ruling this country,” he bemoaned.
He said many Ghanaians were hopeful that then opposition leader, Nana Addo’s Akufo-Addo was going to salvage the situation should he be given the mandate to steer the affairs of the country.
He, however, expressed his disappointment with President Akufo-Addo and his government over their inability to fight corruption as expected by the many people who saw Akufo-Addo as the man whose leadership would rescue the country from acts of corruption.
There were numerous accusations of corruption involving government officials and even the President himself under former President Mahama’s administration. Some of the alleged acts of corruption were established through committees of inquiries leading to the prosecution and convictions of some individuals.
