Former HIV/AIDS ambassador, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah is worried that she may be pregnant after a pregnancy test she took came out positive.
Ms. Dzidzor Mensah indicated that although she has been having sex with a Catholic priest, she had Intrauterine Device (IUD) birth control inserted in her hence, does not expect to get pregnant.
She is, however, left in shock after the pregnancy test she took came out positive. The former AIDS ambassador, who has been battling depression leading to her children being taken away from her by the German authority, stated that she is in no position to bare pregnancy now.
She threatened to sue the health facility where she had the IUD inserted if a second test she is planning to take on Monday turns out to confirm the results.
Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, who is an HIV patient, is said to have been suffering from depression following stigma against her as result of her HIV status. Her two children have since been taken over by the German authority where she is based as her condition seems to have deteriorated.
