Musician Fasetwo has attributed his thrive in the music industry in the Upper East Region to hard work.

Speaking in an interview on Breakfast Today on Dreamz FM, the newly crowned Artiste of the Year at the recently held Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards stated that his belief in himself and his unrelenting efforts are the results of the feats he has been chalking lately.

Affectionately known as Fasetwo the Chianabu, he revealed that he has been doing music since 2008, emphasizing the importance of self-confidence and awareness and hard work in accomplishing dreams.

“The magic is hard work. It’s just believing yourself, knowing what you wany, knowing your target and then working towards,” he stated.

“So, I feel it is just the belief I have in myself that this is something I want to do and worked towards it”.

For the second consecutive time, the singer has won the coveted Artiste of the Year at the Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards.

He beat competition from 9 others including Nambawan, Alapta Wan, Pandy and Rockcity to pick the coveted award.

His song, Sabu, which features Fadlan also won Best Collaboration of the Year with his Kasena boy song winning Record of the Year at the event held January 11, 2025.

But the Sabu hitmaker says he is got more coming.

“We are going to triple the work we did last year. You will see us dropping music videos, dropping songs, going for concerts, coming TV stations and all that. We are going to really do so much work,” he stated.
