Elvis Morris Donkoh, MP for Abura asebu Kwamankese

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency in the Central Region, Elvis Morris Donkor, has said what happened to his main contender Felix Kwakye Ofosu of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with respect to the viral video in which he is alleged to have had sex with someone’s fiancée can happen to him too.

He has therefore declined to mount the moral high horse and pass judgement on the actions or inactions of Mr Ofosu Kwakye as contained in the video.

“I’m human just as Felix. And as far as I’m a man, it can happen to everybody. So, I’m not the one to judge. It’s up to him and his conscience,” he responded when quizzed on his take on the matter.

Mr Donkor noted that the leaked video in no way boosts his electoral fortunes, adding that Mr Ofosu Kwakye with or without the scandal has no chance of winning the the seat since he is relatively unknown in the constituency.

With less than forty days to the elections, the viral video, some contend, has the potential of eroding the gains made by Mr Ofosu Kwakye in his parliamentary campaign.

But members of the NDC have dismissed the video as a frivolous attempt by the NPP to discredit Mr Ofosu Kwakye because of his biting criticism of the NPP government.
