TV Presenter with TV3, Anita Akuffo has refuted claims that her regular appearance in makeup is because she is not pretty and therefore resorted to makeup to hide her real looks.
According to the TV Presenter, her usual appearance in makeup is due to her line of work which requires makeup and not because she is not pretty.
The 27-year-old touted herself as an extremely beautiful lady who will not need makeup or even designer clothes to look beautiful adding that she will look as pretty as she always look even in tattered and unkempt dresses.
Ms. Akuffo expressed shock over the number of people who are bombarding her with questions about her real looks. She disclosed that she receives numerous requests daily for pictures in which she has no makeup on as many are curious to know if she is really that beautiful without makeup.
She, however, stated that she will not release such pictures just to prove her beauty. The former Miss Malaika contestant said although she does not apply makeup when at home, she wants to keep her private life off the public domain and thus, will not share any of such images.
“Without makeup, I’m still beautiful. I’m always in makeup because of my line of work. If I’m going on air, I have to look beautiful. But when I’m at home with family, I don’t have makeups on. It is just that I’m very private person so when I’m home without makeup, I don’t take or share pictures.
A lot of people keeping bombarding me with questions about how I look without makeup but I look just same without makeup. It isn’t because I’m ugly and I’m not ready to post ‘a no makeup’ picture just to prove it. Even if I wear rags, I will still look beautiful. I’m extremely beautiful,” she stated in an interview on the Delay Show.
