Entertainment journalist with Accra-based Hitz FM and JoyNews TV, Doreen Avio has revealed the length she had to go to get her man, whom she is currently married to, fall for her.
She stated that she was clear in her mind, after her first meeting with her now husband, that he was the one she desired in her life and was determined to have him no matter what. She said she went the extra mile and sought the help of others to woo him and finally got him to marry her.
Doreen Avio made this revelation on Accra-based Joy FM’s Strong and Sassy show. Responding to a question on whether she has ever been desperate for a man, she stated “Honestly, I have been desperate to be with a man. Somebody I saw and I could tell that this is what I wanted and I was practically doing everything to have that man. I did it, I worked so hard, I fought and I went to anybody I knew who could help me get that man. That is the extra length I went to. I don’t know what I didn’t do. I did and I got the man and I kept him”.
For her, there is absolutely nothing wrong with women proposing love to men they desire. She, therefore, entreated her fellow women not to shy away but make the move when they find men they are interested in.
“If he is someone you desire and you want him, there is nothing wrong going the extra mile. Once going the extra mile doesn’t have any negativity around it, why not? You can go for him,” she urged.
