Fast rising Nigerian musician, JayWillz has said he does not know any musician from the Upper East Region of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Dreamz FM’s Work Stretch on Friday ahead of his performance at the Akayet Hotel, the ‘Medicine’ hitmaker stated that although he knows a couple of Ghana’s top notch artistes, he doesn’t know any musician who hails specifically from the Upper East Region.
“I don’t know any artiste from this (Upper East) region,” he told host of the show, Lexis.
The Upper East Region has produced a number of great musicians who have rose to stardom in the international music scenes. Some of the top notch musicians from the region include King Ayisoba, Atongo Zimba, and Michael Adangba among others.
But the up-and-coming Nigerian artiste said he does not know any of these stars.
