Paramount Chief of the Bawku Traditional Area Zugraana Naaba Asigri Azorka Abugrago ll has admonished Assembly members of the six District Assemblies within his jurisdiction to give the newly appointed Municipal and District Chief Executives a one-touch endorsement.
He noted that it will be in the interest of the districts and their development for the endorsement process to be successful without hold-ups.
The revered traditional leader eulogized the President of the Republic of Ghana for selecting worthy sons of his area to such high positions.
Naaba Asigri Azorka Abugrago ll bestowed his blessings on the six MMDCE nominees in his area and was quick to admonish the new entrants to work hard in justifying their selection and make the President proud while stating that the renomination of some DCEs was a result of hard work, commitment and dedication to service.
He made this call when the newly nominated DCEs paid a courtesy call on him to formally inform him of the nomination and seek his support and blessings.
In attendance was the Musah Osman, Tahiru Issaku Ahmed, Zubeiru Abdulai, Ayinga Abagre Yakubu, and Amadu Hamza of Bawku, Binduri, Bawku West, Pusiga and Garu districts respectfully.
The nominees pledged to work assiduously in realizing the implementation of government programmes and policies to ameliorate any existing development gap.
