Ghana’s COVID-19 Positivity rate currently stands at 24.37% with 763 new cases reported on Monday July 20, 2020 from 2,762 samples.
The new cases recorded pushes the country’s total case load to 28,430.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the new cases are from samples taken between June 7 to July 16, 2020.
The Ghana Health Service also reported five more COVID-19 related deaths bringing the death toll to 153 as of July 20, 2020 with 24,901 persons declared recovered or discharged leaving the number of active cases at 3,376.
Meanwhile Ghana has so far tested 349, 752 samples out of which 127, 862 were conducted through routine surveillance and 221, 890 tests conducted through contact tracing.
