Founder and leader of Amazing Power Church International (APCI) Prophet Joseph Billa has said his prophesy about the outcome of Ghana’s crucial match against Mozambique in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) would be communicated in parables.
This, he said, will prevent the possibility of gamblers using his prophesy to bet, as it may be difficult for them to appreciate such literary language.
“In order to prevent the youth from using the prophecy score line for betting, it will be communicated in parables,” he stated in a Facebook post.
Ghana senior national men’s team the Black Stars will face off with their Mozambican counterparts today for a place in the Round of 16.
Following an unimpressive showing in their earlier two games, the team must win today’s match in order to stand a chance of progressing to the next stage.
While football analysts are doing in-depth analysis of the team’s prospects in the upcoming match, some clergymen and women say God has revealed the outcome to them.
One of them, Prophet Billa, said, “I saw the flag of Ghana up and flying during and after the AFCON match between Ghana and MOZAMBIQUE”.
Prophesying about the outcome of major events has become a common phenomenon in Ghana and most parts of Africa.
Prior to Ghana’s last match, a number of church leaders prophesised about the results.
One of them, a self-styled prophet by name Jedidia Henry Kore, had predicted that Mohammed Kudus was going to underperform and be “disgraced” on the field of play.
The West Ham United’s forward, however, excelled in the game, scoring Ghana’s two goals and winning Man of the Match.
Many football lovers, after the game, took to social media to call out the said prophet.
