Comedian, Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng better known as Funny Face has narrated how he was ridiculed over reports that he was sexually weak and could not last beyond 2 minutes in bed.
Ex-wife of the comedian, after their divorce, in 2017, was alleged to have accused him of being a loudmouth but poor in bed. This was after the comedian dragged her in public following their divorce. Funny Face had described his marriage to Nana Adwoa as useless, claiming that he was only lured by her physical endowment to marry her.
But in what was purported to be a response, Nana Adwoa accused Funny Face of not satisfying her sexually. A publication which was attributed to her quoted her saying “I am beautiful and naturally endowed but unfortunately, Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng could not satisfy me sexually. My ex-husband is ‘suffering’ and I had cautioned [him] on several occasions but he wouldn’t listen to me”.
Speaking on the matter in a recent interview on The Delay Show, Funny Face said although the reports were not true, he was publicly ridiculed. He disclosed that the situation became unbearable for him when children, whom he said he has a special connection with, jumped on the bandwagon and openly mocked him.
“The news that I was 2-mininute man hit me. First and foremost, the divorce hit me hard then later on, the 2-minute issue hit me because it was not true. Even kids from Kasoa started ridiculing me. When they see me, they would call me Opetey 2-sure.
It started like a joke. And when I asked them where they got that from, they said their parents told them. So I was like ‘eh, so these people are discussing me in their down’. I have a connection with kids so the ridiculing from them got to me more,” he narrated.
