Disc Jockey and radio presenter with Dreamz FM Joshua Apalazo-eya Joshua known by his craft name DJ Sky has been adjudged Youth Media Personality of the Year in the Upper East Region.
He was crowned at the maiden edition of the Upper East Youth Excellence Awards held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Bolgatanga.
The awards is aimed at recognising young individuals in the region who are excelling in their various fields of endeavour.
DJ Sky was nominated together with other prominent media personalities in the media personality category.
He, however, beat competition from other nominees, walking home with the ward.
The lad, since emergence in the media space in the region has carved a niche for him, attracting wider audience with his spectacular spinning skills.
He was, in 2022, crowned the region’s DJ of the Year at the Foklex Media Awards.
