Head of Sports at Dreamz FM Salifu Yakubu Afangya has been appointed Head of Communications and Public Relation Officer for Division Two side Berekum City FC.
Salifu’s appointment comes at a time the Bolgatanga-based football club ready for the Upper East Regional division two Middle League.
“Berekum City Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Afangya salifu Yakubu as the club’s new Head of Communications and Public Relations Officer ahead of the much-anticipated Middle League campaign,” a release published on Berekum City FC’s official social media handle and cited by Dreamz Sports said.
With a wealth of experience in sports communication, media relations, and strategic public relations, Salifu is expected to play a key role in shaping and enhancing the club’s public image while fostering strong relationships between the club, the media, and sports enthusiasts, the release added.
Speaking on the appointment, Salifu expressed excitement about his new role, stating, “It’s a great honour to join Berekum City at such a crucial moment in the club’s journey”.
He added, “I look forward to working closely with management, the technical team, players, and our loyal fan base to project the positive image of the club and tell our story to the world.”
As Berekum City gears up for the Regional Division Two Middle League , the club believes this strategic addition will not only improve communication structures but also enhance fan engagement and visibility.
