If you are an ardent listener of radio in the Upper East Region, then, you will be missing the voice of, arguably, the best entertainment show host in the region, Ibrahim Aziz popularly known as DJ Lexis. This is because the radio presenter has left the region after exiting Dreamz FM.
Lexis, in post on social media, announced his exit from Dreamz FM and his decision to leave the Upper East Region after 13 years of working with various media outlets in the region.
“Thank you Upper East Region. It’s been an honour serving y’all. Tomorrow Friday 10th December, 2021 will be my last radio show in the Region. Words can’t explain my gratitude for the support all these years,” he stated.
Affectionately called the Radio Maestro, Lexis began his radio journey in the region in 2008 with the then Style FM (now Gurune Style) in Bolgatanga. He left Style FM in 2010 and in September same year, joined Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio where he hosted various shows including the Sunset Drive until November 2019 when he exited A1 Radio and moved to Zuarungu-based Word FM in December.
In January 2021, he left Word FM and joined ‘The Ultimate Impression’, Dreamz FM and was the host of the mid-morning show, Work Stretch until his exit on Friday, December 10, 2021.
He has since joined Storm FM in Suyani in the Bono Region as Drivetime Show host.
