One person has been reportedly shot dead in the Awutu Senya West of the Central Region.
The deceased who is yet to be identified was allegedly shot for attempting to snatch a ballot box in the Constituency, Accra-based Joy FM reports.
The Awutu Senya West Constituency was one of the two Constituencies where ballot papers were tempered with.
In a picture that has since gone viral, ballot papers are issued with the section of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) candidate torn out.
Two electoral officials has since been arrested over the incident.
