Naba Akanko Akantariwen, the Chief of Fumbiisi in the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region, has given a resounding endorsement to Alan John Kyerematen’s presidential bid.
During a courtesy call by the Alliance for Change campaign team, led by Boniface Abubakar Sidique, the chief expressed his admiration for Kyerematen’s vision, stating that “if I had the power to choose, Alan would be my pick for Ghana’s next president”.
Kyerematen, a seasoned politician and former Minister of Trade and Industry, is seeking to lead Ghana after breaking away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) due to what he described as ‘an unfair treatment’ in the party’s presidential primaries.
His Alliance for Change movement aims to bring transformative change to Ghana.
Chief Akantariwen’s endorsement is a significant boost to Kyerematen’s campaign, particularly in the Upper East Region.
The Alliance for Change team’s regional tour has been making waves, with notable stops in the Builsa South Constituency.
The team’s message of change and development resonates with the local population, who are eager for a new direction.
As Kyerematen’s campaign gains momentum, his commitment to Ghana’s progress and prosperity remains unwavering.
With influential leaders like Chief Akantariwen backing his vision, Kyerematen’s chances in the 2024 general elections look promising.
