Women in Broadcasting takes peace campaign to Bongo

Naba Baba Salifu Atamale Lemyaarum, the Paramount Chief of the Bongo Traditional Area, has expressed his deepest gratitude to Women in Broadcasting for their tireless efforts in promoting peace throughout the region ahead of the December 7th general election.

The campaign by women in broadcasting, a group of female broadcasters in the Upper East region, aims to ensure a peaceful atmosphere before, during, and after the elections.

The group has been actively engaging with communities, marketplace spreading messages of peace and unity. Their dedication to fostering a harmonious environment has not gone unnoticed, and Naba Baba Salifu Atamale Lemyaarum’s commendation is a testament to their hard work.

The Bongo district was the second district and market the group visited so far where Nana Lemyaarum praises them for their efforts.

“I welcome you to my palace, I wish to take this opportunity to appreciate your efforts to this program it is a very laudable initiative. In northern part here  politics is term us more enemies than friendship families don’t realize that you can be in the same family and belong to different parties therefore people use it to disgorge one another and become enemies” He said
