The Military Officer, who is at the center of the alleged rape of an 18-year-old receptionist of the Siim Lina Guest House in Bolgatanga, is said to have given his name as Isaac Agyei though Dreamz News is unable to tell his current rank.
Mr. Agyei as he mentioned at the time he logged at the guest house at about 9:00am on Monday September 2,2024 is alleged to have sexually assaulted his young victim moments after his purported girlfriend he invited to the facility went away immediately upon arriving at the facility.
The young girl, who recently completed her secondary school education having attended a technical school, was just four days at the guesthouse as an employee when the unfortunate incident happened.
Per the girl’s narration, Mr. Agyei held her hair, dragged her into the room he logged while purportedly threatening her with a scissors compelling the girl to keep mute.
After allegedly raping her, he is said to have taken pictures of her naked body.
The Military in Bolgatanga, who got wind of the incident, stormed the scene close to the hotel, where he was being held by residents and took him to the Abilba Barracks under the 12th Mechanized Battalion.
Information available suggests he was locked up in the guard room while his phone now in the possession of his superiors.
The latest on the case is that the matter is currently before the Bolgatanga Divisional Police Command with statements of witnesses and the victim taken though official investigations are yet to fully commence.
The military per information available to Dreamz News visited the family of the victim on Tuesday September 3, 2024 as the family of the victim demand that action be taken on the matter especially erasing the naked pictures that were taken.
A Medical assessment has also been conducted, a report compiled and handed to the Ghana Police Service.
Dreamz News gathers that the alleged perpetrator, Isaac Agyei forcefully penetrated her with his fingers and subsequently, his penis.
He is said to have claimed that he knew the girl when questioned by his superiors but further questions on when he got to know her by superiors gave him out prior to the superiors ordering for him to be locked up in the guard room.
The victim is in a stable condition but remains troubled by the incident with the mother expressing deep concern that nothing significant might be done about her daughters plight.
