As he marks another milestone, celebrating his birthday, the Chief Executive Officer of, Charger Limited, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey, saw the need to donate to the Mama Lardi Orphanage Home in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region.

This saw Mr. Borketey through the Happy Man Foundation donate food items, toiletries costing 8,000 cedis, and cash amount of 2000 cedis bringing the entire amount to 10,000 cedis.

The items included drinks, cooking oil, rice, tissue paper, tea products, sachet water, and detergents among other items with the 2,000 cedis cash amount meant to help the home take care of utility bills.

Speaking on his behalf, Albert Azongo, recalled the struggles of Mr. Borketey adding he therefore finds the celebration of his birthday as a worthy opportunity to extend a helping hand to the vulnerable in society hence the donation.

Mr. Azongo disclosed that the Charger Limited CEO views life as the most paramount gift. He added that whatever one does to man is an act done to God.

He urged the children of the home to pray for Mr. Borketey and his Company so they will be in a better position to return in the future with similar donations.

“He says, in this world, If you have life, you have everything. He was also poor, he was once like you, a young person and God has blessed him to reach where he is today. In the future, some of you here are going to be much greater than he is and he believes that for him to be celebrating his birthday today it is just by the grace of God and the Bible says whatever you do unto man, you do unto God. So, he holds the view that God has instructed him to bless you today as part of his birthday.” Mr. Azongo stated.
