The Upper East Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, has expressed his conviction that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will emerge victorious in the 2024 General Elections if the Electoral Commission (EC) conducts a free and fair poll on December 7.
Dr. Salih made these remarks during the International Nurses Day celebration organized by the regional branch of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA).
He emphasized that the government is committed to providing the EC with the necessary resources to carry out its mandate.
“We will ensure that the EC has all the needed resources to organize free and fair elections,” he assured.
The Minister’s confidence in the NPP’s victory is rooted in his belief in the party’s candidate, Vice President Dr. Mahamoud Bawumia.
“We know that if the election is free and fair, our candidate Dr. Bawumia will emerge as a winner,” he added.
The celebration was held to honor the contributions of nurses and midwives to the healthcare system, and Dr. Salih’s remarks added a political dimension to the event.
