Alan Kyerematen facilitated the funding of the New Patriotic Party government’s flagship program, Free Senior High School (SHS), Boniface Abubakar Sidique has said.
According to Mr Sidique, Kyerematen’s tenure as Ambassador to the United States under former President John Agyekum Kufour’s leadership yielded significant benefits for Ghana.
He stated that, Kyerematen successfully attracted two companies that discovered oil in Ghana, generating vital revenue for the country, emphasizing that the proceeds from this oil discovery have been instrumental in funding the free SHS program since 2017.
This remarkable achievement, Sidique said, showcases Kyerematen’s ability to drive transformative change.
“Alan is the right person to lead Ghana in the 2024 general elections,” he asserted, citing Kyerematen’s impressive track record.
The Alliance for Change team, including Mr. Alhasan Samari, National Advisory Committee Chairman, and Mr. Rayan Nazir, Upper East Regional Anchor, joined Mr Sidique on the Upper East regional tour, rallying support for Alan Kyerematen’s presidential bid.
Sidique noted “With Kyerematen at the helm, Ghana can expect bold initiatives and strategic partnerships that propel the nation forward”.
He added that, as the country seeks a new direction, Alan Kyerematen’s proven leadership and commitment to education make him a compelling choice for the 2024 elections.
