President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has once again made changes to his government.
The latest reshuffle affects the composition of the government at the regional level in two twin regions – Upper East and Upper West Regions.
Immediately effectively, Stephen Mahamudu Yakubu has been reassigned from his role as Upper East Regional Minister to assume the post of the administrative head for the Upper West Region.
Also, Hafiz Bin Salih has been swapped to the Upper East Region to take over as regional minister.
In a statement signed by Director of Communications Eugene Arhin, the presidency said, “these changes are part of President Akufo-Addo’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance across the country, and has tasked the ministers to work tirelessly to promote the welfare and development of the people of Upper West and Upper East Regions”.
