About 67 projects have been mistakenly entered onto the Performance Tracker as part of the list of achievements by the current administration, the Performance Tracker technical team has said.
In a press release, the team said its attention was drawn to the anomaly after the launch of the database system.
It has since rectified the anomaly and added 74 other projects which were left out.
These projects, it said, were completed within the period but were overlooked due to oversight.
“Within 48 hours following the launch, our attention has been drawn to 67 entries which were erroneously included. These have been corrected. Our attention has also been drawn to some 74 projects which should have been included as they had been concluded by June 2023. These have also been included,” it stated.
“As announced at the launch, the tracker is being continuously updated to provide a live and accurate record of the performance of the Government of Ghana”.
This comes on the back of accusations by particularly the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) that projects executed by its government and Members of Parliament have passed off as part of the achievements of the current administration.
While indicating that it was still scrutinizing the tracker, the party vowed to expose government for allegedly laying false claims to projects executed by others.
