Winners of a number of award categories at the fifth edition of the Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards (HMB-UEMA) will be walking home with handsome rewards, Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, producers of the headline sponsor has announced.
The categories whose winners will be receiving these special prizes include Artiste of the Year, Blogger of the Year, Best New Act of the Year, HMB Popular Song of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year.
Making the announcement on social media, Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey explained that the rewards are aimed at recognising and motivating outstanding contributions to the growth of the region’s creative industry.
This announcement comes barely two weeks to the event night which is scheduled for January 5, 2024.
Organizers of the awards, One Love Entertainment unveiled the nominees for this year’s event in October and later in November organized nominees jams, building excitement ahead of the main event.
The awards, initiated about half a decade ago recognises and celebrates talents in the region.
