Veteran Nollywood actor, Bruno Iwuoha has died after years of battling with diabetes and glaucoma.
The legendary actor, who starred in several popular Nollywood movies, reportedly died at the National Hospital in the capital of the Federal Republic of Nigerian, Abuja.
Filmaker, Derik Zai, who broke the news of his death, disclosed that Chief Bruno as he was affectionately called had been in coma for about 3 weeks and everything done by doctors to improve his health condition proved futile.
Chief Bruno is said to have lost his sight and could not walk as result his ill health.
His mortal remains have since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy and preparation for burial.
Bruno Iwuoha was best known for his roles in movies like ‘Fire on the Mountain’ (2002), ‘No Nonsense’ (2003) and ‘Sin of the Flesh’.
In 2007, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 3rd Africa Movie Academy Awards for his role in ‘Sins of the Flesh’.
