Upper East Region based rapper, Clement Ayamga known by his stage name Nambawan has taken a swipe at industry players in the region for criticizing him and his colleague’s artistes.

The rapper, in a post on social media, said industry players particularly bloggers and radio presenters who have not made any mark in their various fields of expertise are constantly criticizing musicians who are on top of their game and asking them to improve upon their crafts so as to break into the music scene nationally. This, in his view, is ridiculous.

For him, instead of criticizing musicians, the said industry players should focus on working towards excelling in their fields of expertise as “The world doesn’t have to hear only our music but every good thing involving the region”.

He served notice that “before I will respond to any critics from now onwards, I’ll have to consider the individual himself and how positively you’re improving in your own aspect of life”.

Some of you could also be internationally recognized presenters, bloggers, politicians, businessmen/women, event organizers, models n even artiste managers.

And hey, not excluding, lecturers, lawyers, bankers, chattered accountants, doctors, engineers, security personnel and so on….

Ask yourself, why you are still here on Facebook as an adviser. “You’re still working towards your dreams” if I may guess?

What makes y’all think it’s only musicians who needs improvement in the region? Or Should I say you’re now getting to realize it’s one of the biggest exports you could’ve?

In as much as you may think someone else needs to step up their game, what have u done to yours?

Others have also made it worldwide with the same hustle you’re into. Or you’re so comfortable with where you are now??

Brethren, the fight is for a whole region and not for selfish stomachs. If you can join hands and resources come let’s fight together regardless your field.

The world don’t only deserve to hear only our music but every good thing involving the region as a whole. E.g. (a lot of youth are into basket trade now) don’t they deserve same push and publicity?

So before I will respond to any critics from now onwards, I’ll have to consider the individual himself and how positively you’re improving in your own aspect of life!
