Before making that crucial decision to enter into a relationship, many study their potential partners keenly.
During this period, one of the things they lookout for is warning signs; red flags.
Red flags are basically traits and attitudes that are considered unacceptable and could pose a threat to the relationship in future.
But red flags vary for many; that is what is red flag for one person may not be for another.
For radio and TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, lack of respect for others especially those below one is a “big” red flag for her.
According to her, she can’t stand disrespectful people and thus, any man who disrespect others particularly those who he feels are below his rank does not stand a chance of winning her heart.
“I can’t stand disrespectful people. If you can’t respect someone you think is down there then you can’t respect anybody. You have no self respect and that is a big problem for me; a lack of respect for people you see as below you. That’s a redflag for me,” she stated on Joy FM.
She recounted how she ghosted a man she was seeing after he disrespected a waitress.
She indicated that she was so attracted to this man and had gone on a number of dates with him, hoping to make him the love of her life.
But her great affection and admiration for him turned to disgust after he treated a waitress disdainfully while they were on a date.
After the incident, she blocked him from contacting her and cut all ties with him, she recalled.
“There was this guy that I really really liked. We went on a couple of dates and the way he spoke to a waitress who got the menu wrong was just a big deal for me and that was it. I blocked him”.
Nana Aba Anamoah also said she considers men who eat a lot as a red flag.
She believes getting into a relationship with such men will drain the female partner as she may be burdened with cooking all time to serve the needs of her gluttonous partner.
