Asampana Micheal Abembela, affectionately called Raz Wormz, a popular musician who hails from Bongo in the Upper East Region has extended a hand of benevolence to six (6) pupils of the Kabre Primary School by donating uniforms to them.
The beneficiaries who are made up of 4 boys and 2 girls all received a new set of uniforms.
Ras Wormz made the decision to donate to the six after observing that they have often attended school in unapproved attire making them look odd.
The donation which was made on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 forms part of the musician’s desire to give back to society from the little he has gotten through music.
With education being a priority since he doubles as an administrator at the Bongo District Education Directorate and has received recognition from the Ghana Education Service for his dedication in some time past, Rasz Womz, a musician who has the ability to string words together both in English and the indigenous language to produce great content found it appropriate to reach out to needy pupils.
The ‘La kan po’or seym’ hitmaker while donating the uniforms pledged to reach out to some more schools as he urges the pupils to be serious with their education.
The gesture by the musician according to the Circuit Supervisor for the North East Circuit, Bongo, Christiana Ayamga, and authorities of the school is a welcome development.
