Headline Sponsors of the Upper East Music Awards, Happy Man Bitters have announced additional packages for winners of the 2022 edition of the award scheme.
The step up in the packages, according to Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, Producers of Happy Man Bitters Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey is to correspond with the introduction of new categories with the hope of widening the scope of the award scheme as the years go by.
“This year, additional categories have been added and as the years swing by, there shall be more inclusiveness,” he wrote in a post seen by dreamzfmonline.com.
Dr Borketey disclosed that the Artist of the year shall receive a project fund of GHC.20,022.00 to directly enhance his or her music career and products from Charger Limited with possible opportunities of partnership with Charger Limited for mutual growth.
Following the introduction of new categories in thus year’s edition, Dr Borketey pledged to “The winner of the GOSPEL SONG OF THE YEAR for the 2022 edition of HMB-UEMA will be rewarded with a top notch music video, a possible collaboration with an A list gospel artist from the south and a Cash price of GHC 4000.00.
For NEW ACT OF THE YEAR, the winner shall receive a monthly stipend of GHC 500.00 for a period of one year from Me”.
Meanwhile, the official launch of the 2022 edition is set to take place on Saturday 15th October at Tap Hotel.
