2022 VGMAs Artiste of the Year, KiDi has narrated how he was sexually harassed by a female fan at an event recently.

According to him, the lady, who, he indicated is a foreigner, met him at a birthday party of his twin friends and asked to take a picture with him after he had finished with his performance at the event.

He obliged and had positioned himself, waiting for her to come over for the picture. But much to his surprise, the lady walked up to his side, stood in front of him and grabbed his penis, leaving him embarrassed and humiliated.

She, however, did not see anything wrong with her action as she burst out laughing and saying that she had heard “things” about him hence, decided to confirm.

“I went to a birthday party of twins. I wasn’t planning to perform but they are brothers so I decided to do a little performance. And after I got down, this girl approached me with her friends and asked to take a picture with me.

I obliged and when she was walking across to stand by me, she stopped in front of me and she is really tall, she is taller than me so I was looking at her and she just grabbed my penis. She was laughing and saying ‘I heard things about you’.  I just walked away. I didn’t even say anything. So her friends and some people know that were around apologized on her behalf,” he recounted in an interview on Accra-based Citi FM.

KiDi, who said he was so displeased with the lady’s action and had to walk away, advised his fans especially females to respect boundaries and not go overboard in expressing their love for him.

“We don’t talk about these things because people don’t see it as an issue when it involves men. What I portray doesn’t give you the right to touch me inappropriately. I want people to be respectful. There is nothing wrong with showing that you love somebody but be respectful. I will never walk up to a female that I love and touch them inappropriately. So let’s show our love but let’s be respectful,” he advised.

The Lynx Entertainment signee said this in response to a question about some of the craziest things his female fans have done or said in showing their love to him.
