Artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Mr. Logic has advised musicians in the Upper East Region to compose music and sing in their local languages instead of attempting to sing in foreign languages.

Mr. Logic observed that the various languages of the region are unique and thus, using them to compose music will churn out good and melodious songs which will resonate with music lovers all over the world.

This, he said, will expose the world not only to the region’s music but to its rich languages and culture.

“When I went to Bolga, I was telling them on their radio that ‘look guys, I think you don’t know what you have in terms of your language, you have a unique language that you can compose and make unique songs with it that will go worldwide. People will begin to ask what you are saying if the melodies catches on. So they will get to know the language and it will become familiar to the world’. We should all try to beautify our various tribes’ language,” he said on Accra-based Hitz FM.

The artiste manager, however, noted that musicians in the region are oblivious of the uniqueness of the various languages hence, their attempt to sing in unfamiliar languages thereby producing songs which do not get the needed traction as they lack uniqueness and originality.
