Upper East based musician, Wahidu Adisa known by his stage name Showbowy says he is facing so many challenges in his bid to break into the music scenes globally as well as keep the region’s music industry vibrant.
In a post on social media, the ‘Juju’ hitmaker said while he is working hard to make his craft appealing to the national and international markets as well as make the music industry more attractive to local fans, some industry players, out of hatred and dislike for him and his craft, are making conscious efforts to discredit his works and distract him.
But this, Showbowy stated, will not distract him as he is poised to see to his dream of breaking into the national and international music scenes as well as making the region’s music more appealing to music lovers in the region.
He prayed to God to bless all the industry players with riches as he believes the hatred towards him and the attempt to discredit his works are fueled by poverty.
“We do our best to make sure the industry isn’t fading. Some shade us but we don’t take it personal, some hate us but we still don’t take it personal, some even want us to fail in real life just because the don’t like our music we still not take it personal. We pray for money and good health because poverty can make you hate somebody you love,” he said in a post on social.
