The Minister of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, Daniel Botwe has released the full list of persons nominated by president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to be appointed as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives for the various assemblies across the country.
For the Upper East Region, former Parliamentary candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Rex S. A. Asanga has been nominated to head the Bolgatanga Municipality. David Akolgo Amoah has also been nominated to replace Rev. Emmanuel Abole as DCE for the Bolgatanga East District.
For the Bongo District, Peter Ayinbisa, who served as DCE since 2017, has lost his job as the President appoints Rita Atanga as his replacement.
