Actress and Television Personality Nana Ama McBrown has made a cash donation of $2,000, electronic appliances and other items to veteran Actress Grace Nortey.
The gesture, which came as a surprise to the now frail television mother formed part of other donations made as part of the 43rd birthday celebration of Nana Ama McBrown.
Accompanied by her family and friends in the media and movie industry, the actress made the presentation at the home of the woman she referred to as her role model.
“I know I have been coming here frequently but today I want to say that the Grace I have and enjoying today is as result of the blessings I sought from you. All that has contributed to who I am today. I have come with a Television, Refrigerator, Biscuits, Rice, toiletries, water and many other items for you,” she said.
Ms. McBrown also presented a cash amount of $2,000 to madam Grace Nortey and added that “All these items were given to me by people but this money is from myself. I want you to see it as a seed I’m sowing in your life. You have enjoyed long life and still with us and you aren’t going anywhere now,” she added.
Grace Nortey is an 83 year old veteran actress who played multi-character lead roles in popular Ghanaian television series and movies in the 1990’s through to the 2000’s.
