Musician, Fancy Gadam has opened up about his sour relationship with rapper, Maccasio. The two Tamale-based musicians, since the beginning of their music careers, do not see eye to eye and have, on various occasions, thrown jabs at each other.
Their relationship grew from bad to worst to an extent that it became a security threat to have both artistes share a stage as there was likely to be a commotion even among their fans.
Although Maccasio had indicated that they had resolved to work things out and were also planning to unite their fans through a concert, they seem to still be at loggerheads with each other.
But speaking on their rivalry, which appears unending, in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM, Fancy Gadam stated that, even though they had had misunderstandings at the beginning of their music careers, they have a better relationship now.
He said he has been making relentless efforts to have music lovers particularly their fans understand that they are not enemies.
“We (Maccasio and I) are cool. He is a brother from the North who also does music. I know from the beginning we had one or two misunderstandings but we are cool now. He is my little brother so I’m trying to let people understand that we are not against each other,” he stated.
