The dancehall musician Stonebwoy has publicly apologized for the altercation that occurred between him and Sarkodie’s manager, Angel Town which led to the latter sustaining an eye injury.
In a video which is widely circulated on social media, the putuu hit maker apologized to Sarkodie and his manager for his role in the incident which got the rapper’s manager injured.
“A few days ago, at the recording of my own brother, Sarkodie’s event, Black Love Concert, there was a little misunderstanding between Angelo and me. I want to use this opportunity to apologise again and say a big sorry to Angelo, my guy and extension of that to Sarkodie himself,” he said in the video.
Stonebwoy reportedly attacked Angel Town at a rehearsal session ahead of Sarkodie’s ‘Black Love Virtual Concert’ which is slated to take place on Sunday, August 16, 2020. The attack, reports say, was as a result of a misunderstanding between the two after the dancehall musician was denied parking at a particular place though other musicians were allowed to park their vehicles there. In addition to this, he was again denied access to the venue for rehearsals for close to three hours though his colleague musicians had access to the place. These happenings infuriated him leading to the altercation between him and Sarkodie’s manager.
It was also reported that Stonebwoy brandished a gun during the heated confrontation.
But the musician while offering an apology to his colleague and his manager dispelled the reports. In the widely circulated video, he said “there were no guns. There were no knives” and urged the general public to disregard such reports.
